We kicked off the project with a bunch of big ideas, all centered around creating inspiring experiences for the end user. Ease of use and intuitive site navigation were a must. It was important that new and repeat visitors could get where they needed to go, find inspiration, and seamlessly navigate through the purchase path. In parallel, a ‘must have’ for our client was the need for a flexible tool for site editing and maintenance. One that was intuitive, flexible and if possible, integrated with the client’s CRM and database. The flexible, extendable, UMBRACO Content Management System (CMS), was chosen as the platform. Jixaw integrated Umbraco with the client CRM using the Tessitura API, providing ease of setup and avoiding the need for duplicate entry of data and/or content. The result is a user friendly site, built on an easy to learn CMS, that lets Tix on the Square staff add or update events and content whenever needed, especially important when you’re working with 60+ organizations and 75+ venues around town.
