Who We Are

Built for Arts & Culture Teams

20+ years in the arts sector taught us one thing: great organizations need more than great technology. They need a partner who understands their world. That's what Jixaw is built to be.

How We Work

Many of us have worked inside arts and culture organizations just like yours, which means we understand the pressures you're navigating: tight budgets, staff turnover, technology that never quite does what you need it to. We didn't learn this sector from a distance. We lived it.

That shared experience is at the heart of how we work with clients. You bring the deep knowledge of your organization and your mission. We bring the technical expertise, the sector insight, and the hands-on support to make things actually work. Together that combination produces solutions that fit the way your organization really operates.

Every project at Jixaw gets the same treatment regardless of size or scope: straight talk, practical thinking, and a team that shows up when it counts. We're your go-to partner for as long as you need us.

No two organizations are the same, and neither are our solutions. Everything we build starts with a conversation about how your organization actually works, what your team needs, and where you want to go. 20+ years in the sector means we know not to build or design anything in isolation.

From national symphonies to regional theatres to world-class museums, we've worked with some of the most respected arts and cultural organizations in North America. Our client stories speak for themselves, and we're proud to share them.

Strategy, technology, design, project management, ongoing support. Rather than juggling multiple vendors, you get one team that understands the whole picture and stays with you from start to finish.

Some clients need us every day. Others call when something comes up. Either way, you get the same responsive, knowledgeable team that knows your organization and can hit the ground running.

Our Story

It all started at the Playhouse Theatre, where Jixaw founder, Blair, first discovered what arts organizations really needed from their technology. As Tessitura grew in popularity across the sector, so did the demand for people who truly understood it.

Word spread quickly. By 2004, Jixaw had landed its first major project and Cresswell Modus was born. For years, the company was simply known as "Blair" to clients across the industry. A testament to the personal relationships at the heart of everything we do.

In 2018, as the team grew and the work expanded well beyond any one person, it was time for a new name. Jixaw Technologies launched officially at the Tessitura Learning and Community Conference in Washington, DC.

Today, our team is a blend of technical specialists, design gurus and those with deep sector knowledge. We're built on 2 decades of partnerships with some of the most respected arts and cultural organizations in North America. We've come a long way. And we're just getting started.

We like meeting new people.
